This year I was lucky enough working in the same company with one of the most remarkable persons I ever met, Elpidoforos, who is often organizes donations in order to help people in serious need.His latest accomplishment was to travel across the Africa, from Cape Town to Cairo, only carrying a backpack and a tent, in order to raise founds for the children of Africa.More info about this project you can find here.

Well, this time he will cross the whole Europe, from London to Athens, so that he can raise the amount of 10.000 euros for the children suffering from cancer.

When I heard about this 'adventure', in the begging of the summer, I decided that  I will join him for the whole trip;I am a cyclist so that wouldn't be much hard for me, since I wanted to help for something as big as that for the first in my life.But...

A broken pelvis during a training in the mid of July kept me in the bed. Even if now  I am ok now, I couldn't take such a long trip.

My disappointment was enormous about my bad luck, but fortunately by brother and some friends will accompany him,at least for some days.From each part of Europe that Elpidoforos will pass,local cyclists will ride along him. So I am hoping that I will do that too, when he reaches Greece in the 4th of October.
